Crawling Insects Control

Crawling Insects Control

The popular insects have wings in the adult stage and move around mainly by flying. But some insects, such as cockroaches, have wings but are reluctant flyers, preferring to crawl to find food and shelter. Termites and ants are mainly wingless, so most of their behaviour involves crawling, and produce swarmer and alates which are temporarily winged during a short breeding season.

RESIDUAL SPRAY TECHNIQUE

Cracks and Crevice Treatment: The residual spraying to be applied in limit only to areas where there are pests’ activity observed. Spot treatments will not be used in or near food preparation areas unless the permitted chemical can be used.

Spot Treatments: The pesticides will be sprayed on wall void and floor cracks only to minimize chemical exposure to humans and non-targeted insects.

BAIT TECHNIQUE

Gel Bait Treatment: Gel baits to be applied in required amounts. This type of treatment is especially recommended in food preparation areas where there’s usually a high infestation of cockroach and ants and chemical spraying is very limited.

Ant Stations: Liquid borate bait that attracts and kills ants and their colonies. It is packed in convenient bait stations which can be placed near wall, floor cracks, holes and ant pathways.

Granular Baits: These baits formulated as a ready-to-use fine granular form, ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Granular baits are picture-perfect for perimeter and crawl space treatments as well as difficult to reach areas such as cracks and crevices, underneath cabinets and cupboards, electronic appliances, openings around drains, water pipes and electrical conduits.
